Supporting our members

LIPSA members benefit from our very active Board of Directors who meet frequently to review the many topics that affect the pool industry on Long Island and take proactive measures to ensure our members are informed and supported. These include

• Government relations, from local to national legislation, zoning regulations, building code changes, etc. that affect how we can service and build
• Conducting member educational events from equipment technology updates to construction techniques to learning best business practices and more. And because LIPSA members must be licensed and insured, we do regularly scheduled certification classes and exams that are part of both Nassau and Suffolk County’s licensing requirements.
• Encouraging networking amongst our members, which creates lifelong friendships, help with technical questions and a built-in support system as we navigate the many aspects of our complex industry. In additional to frequent educational seminars, we host a very popular annual Golf Outing and Holiday Design Award Gala to relax and enjoy the company of our peers.
